Good afternoon, it is 2.30pm and welcome to Sunnyside newspaper, I am in Penshaw where I am joined by this gentleman who will explain a little about how the bee project is going to help the community. I understand that you are retired and spend most of your time in the garden, how do you think that the bee project is going to help.
VINCENT - Retired Penshaw resident.

The bee project itself is a great idea as bees are what help flowers grow in my allotment and as the bee species are on the decline it is only a good thing to be able to get involved to attract more bees into the garden.
REBECCA I have also heard that there has been a lot of help from the local primary students… Tell us what it has been like to be able to work along side each other?
VINCE Well, the children have been great giving a helping hand to those who wanting to get involved with the idea. It was good to see them enjoy themselves outside the classroom and get to learn about the project first hand and know that they have helped a declining species.

REBECCA Well thank you for your time and I will let you get back to helping the bees.
