To reconstruct this poster I used an internet search to bring up an image of a shark caught in a net and opened it up onto Photoshop.
I then went onto overlaying the writing on top of the image by clicking onto Horizontal Type Tool, I looked on the internet to find the font for the two seperate texts on the poster, selected the correct font types and then wrote out the same text making sure the layout was the same if not similar to the original image.
When looking at posters for newspaper I came across this special edition of Michael Jackson and deicded as this was different way of highlihgitng one particular acticle I thought it would show the differences in how newspapers present their posters. As Michael Jackson was such a iconic person I liked that they highlighted this even further by using a very recognisable and iconic dance move of his onto one of the three posters.
When reconstructing this poster it was a little harder as there were a few more elemets on this poster as I had to find the masthead for the newspaper and I needed to find a image of Michael Jackson in the same position.
When looking on the internet for the Michael Jackson dance move I found an image that looks to be exact the one from the original newspaper poster except for the fact that the image I had was black and white. When looking for the masthead I couldn't find what font the newspaper used and so took a screen shot of the mastehead and opened the image on Photoshop, got rid of the background by using the Magic Wand Tool, I then had to put back in the holes that were taken out my doing this and so selected the Eraser tool and put little holes in the e,g, a's and d's. I created a blue background to the similar colour to the colour in the orginal poster, added a orange box by using the rectangle tool and copying the masthead I had 'created' from before. Then added the images from the online search but the image had blocked the light at the stairs and so used the Brush Tool to cover the spac where the text is going to placed. I then used the Horizontal Type tool to write in the main sell-line similar to the way it was positioned in the poster as I used the alignment to the right just like it was in the poster.
